<도어즈(The Doors) 모든 가사 해석하기 프로젝트>

편집 앨범인 Essential Rarities 다섯번째에 수록된 곡이다. 정식 앨범에 수록되지 않은 곡 중 하나이다. 1969년 싱글 앨범 "Wishful Sinful"의 B면에 있던 곡이다. Wishful Sinful은 the Soft Parade 앨범에 수록된 곡이다. 이 앨범 발매후 나온 싱글이라고 보면 되겠다. 

두번째 편집 앨범이자 짐모리슨이 사망한 후 첫번째 편집 앨범인 1972년 1월에 발매된 'Weird Scenes Inside the Gold Mine'에 수록되었다.

영국 밴드 유라이어힙의 대표곡으로 1971년 앨범 Look at Yourself의 세번째 트랙 수록되었다. 밴드의 키보드 연주자 켄 헨슬리와 리드 보컬 데이빗 바이런이 작곡했다. 

1980년대 불가리아에서는 소련의 억압에 저항하는 대표곡이 되었다고 한다. 불가리아에서는 흑해 연안에서 7월 1일에 해돋이를 하는 축제가 있는데 이 곡을 부르면서 축제 이름도 '7월 아침'이 되었다고 한다.  

러시아의 빅토르최, 남아프리카공화국의 로드리게즈처럼 불가리아에서는 이 곡이 자유와 저항을 상징하나보다.  한국으로 보자면 아마도 '아침이슬' 정도일까.

곡을 만든 켄헨슬리가 공연을 위해 버스로 이동하는 중에 심심해서 기타로 즉석 연주를 하다가 곡의 첫소절을 부르게 되었고 이후에 몇 일동안 곡을 만들었다고 한다.

2006년 4월에 최초 번역했었는데 얼마 전 라디오에서 듣고 번역을 수정하고, 다시 올린다.
